Fragrance Recommendation for Women for Christmas 2014

For women, here are my recommendation as gifts. What's nice is the plethora of choices. I am sure, easily you can find out what's perfect for the ladies in your life.

| Sweet, feminine, intense. |
What I really like about this fragrance is its sophisticated sweetness. Its femininity is coming from the nice patchouli and rose combo on a bed of vanilla with the sweet blackcurrant on top. The fragrance is very perfect for this season. I have this impression that the fragrance will last long.
The fragrance fits women in power, who are a bit naughty but generally nice. It fits women who are very sure of how they want to live their lives and are very much driven to get their hearts' desires.
The fragrance may not be for younger market, i.e. 20s. But surely fits 30s and up.
Nuit Hugo Boss Pour Femme - SCENTSATIONAL

Another fragrance in the dark color theme is Nuit Pour Femme from Hugo Boss. It embodies a little black dress that should be regular to any woman's wardrobe. Its sheer elegance is coming from the play of white flowers and fruity peach on impact but has a very clean fresh aldehyde on approach. The interesting note here is the almost white, fresh and clean fragrance bottled into a black and gold packaging. The elegance is truly very strong and yet has feminine subtlety.
Perfect for evening wear but can definitely be applicable for daily wear. Not for younger market though.

I have to say that this one takes my money for being the gift that is highly recommended. This is totally opposite the first two fragrances featured. The light and sheer combination of white flower and citrus gives it that wonderful feminine and youthful impact on application. Interestingly, the fragrance has an impression of long lastingness with the amber and woods on its base. I did not detect any fruits in the composition, hence, I see a classic fragrance in the making here. It is very feminine, light and the contrast between the citrus-white floral and the amber notes gives it a balanced and modern composure.
Perfect for that modern power women in her 30s - 50s, the fragrance may also be enjoyed by someone in her late 20s. Although based on the write-up from Hugo Boss website, the target market is moms balancing career and family.
I can also see this fragrance trickled down to personal care products. That is how good this fragrance is.
Creed Love In White - SENSORIAL OVERLOAD

Another fragrance I highly recommend is Creed Love In White. You may even find it difficult to give this away once you spray this floral-woody fragrance. It is also a combination of citrus and floral notes but what makes this interesting is the vanilla and sandalwood carrying all the fragrance notes together. The flower bouquet is composed of rose, orange blossom and magnolia, which gives this a timeless elegance. Based on the website's description, its overall floral-woody direction is the sensory coherence of its appealing sensuality with the modern feminine charm.
Sophisticated, unique - true to the essence of this niche brand's image, this 2005 fragrance is still very contemporary and in-the-now.
Highly recommended for women with impeccable taste and have high quality requirements.

If you are into fruity fragrances then this fragrance is for you but with added sophistication. It's fruity direction is coming from passionfruit and carambola - hence you get a very unique tropical fruity direction that is not very apple or sweet berries. This makes the fragrance luxurious, consistent with the brand. The fragrance's floral note is coming from white jasmine and freesia - very simple and yet rich. The fragrance ends with an opulence of musks and woods.
This one can be worn by younger female market, in their early 20s. Perfect for those who are trying to upgrade from the usual Escadas, Ralphs, Victoria Secrets and Bath & Body Works.
